I've seen this classic several times now, and each time I'm amazed at how effective the last 20 min or so unnerves me - the escalating insanity around the dinner table is relentless.
Franklin is still annoying af, though.

A bonkers performance by Klaus Kinski as sort of a Hitler fanboy landlord terrorizing his tenants as he crawls through what must be the absolutely most enormous and elaborate a/c duct system in existence. I can't imagine what his utility bills must be like.
