On Falling 2024
Extra .5 for the Portuguese. A film about the weight of solitude and the dystopian exploitation that still exists in massive corporations. The story speaks to the immigrant experience in the UK and Aurora’s character carries with her a tangible grief. A somber story with limited dialogue, perhaps indicative of her disconnect, Joana Santos plays the protagonist so well. Loved this
