Man, I hope I can make a black t-shirt that’s at least two sizes too small look as good as J.K. Simmons does when I’m 60.

I’m just gonna say it, and I don’t care who gets mad:

Golden Age Pixar > Renaissance Era Disney

So insane that they didn’t have a single miss for 15 whole years from Toy Story all the way to Toy Story 3! Even the MCU from Iron Man to Endgame had the occasional dud. I’d be surprised if I see another run like that from any studio for the rest of my life! These rewatches have been a super fun trip down memory lane!

I appreciate this film more and more every time I rewatch it, and it sucks that this one of the least talked about movies in the entire MCU. The WWII period piece setting helps it feel so unique from any other superhero film, let alone just the MCU. Shoutout to that Hydra dude that got turned into mist in those plane rotors!

I’ll just say it up front, this is my favorite version of Ghostface! He’s never been more brutal or ruthless, and I’m all here for it! I’ve been really impressed with these last two Scream movies. They haven’t been afraid to bring a new style to the franchise, and the new main cast is really likable. In this film specifically though, there is way too much plot armor for my taste. A lot of characters take what should be very…

I was hoping that this being the emotional swan song for this version of the Guardians would easily make this a top tier MCU movie. While it is definitely up there, it felt a bit too anticlimactic for what I would’ve liked.

On the positive side, from a directing and production standpoint, this may be the best an MCU movie has ever looked. Everything from the sets to the visual effects were virtually flawless. I’m so happy that Marvel gave…
