The Protagonist Wikus embarks on a journey trying to prove that he is worthy of the job and not getting it because his father in law owns the company. He is tasked to relocate the district 9 and at the end, Wikus is relocated geographically, emotionally and physically. An entertaining film with witty dialogues and a tight plot. You are hooked on from the start with the interesting story telling treatment. The use of flashbacks are reminiscent of inglorious bastards, every important element in terms of plot point and twist is acknowledged duly and the recall value of the set up is hence gratifying. The overall structure is based on Chekhov's gun with a predictable end. All in all its a fun ride and a must watch.
