Def diff from the book, but I like how they committed to their own thing. I also like how they did a lot of the natural designs.
I think everyone who gave this a rly high rating haven’t read the book.

I feel bad but this just felt like one long trauma dump pretending to be a movie on an interesting concept and it really just revealed how stuck Andrew McCarthy is on something everyone else is over. This was maybe interesting for a few minutes but something no one should create two hours of. I also went in with the wrong expectations hoping to learn about the brat pack and I did a bit but that was not the focus.
