  It's by far my favorite film I saw at Slamdance this year. A bit too slow at times, but overall very funny and very well crafted. It's probably not a 5/5, but you gotta support your fellow indie filmmakers. Definitely recommending it to anyone who likes dry humor and/or surreal storytelling. Think Eraserhead, Barton Fink, etc. Also, shout out to Colin Burgess! That guy is funny on AND off the screen.

  A mix between Pretty Woman and Larry Clark's Kids. I was a bit worried for its direction at one point, it kind of felt that it might end in a pretty cheap/rom-com way, but thankfully Sean Baker pulls it off. It's a really good film. Definitely one of the best films of 2024, if not the best one.
