  Such a fun train-wreck. There’s some seriously good ideas here, each of the four villains presented would make a really compelling antagonist on their own, but unsurprisingly cramming them all into one movie just does not work. I know everyone thinks this is the black sheep of the trilogy, but I honestly think Spider-Man 3 just exaggerates all of the ridiculous elements of 1 and 2. It’s still energetic, still campy, and still trying to tug at your heartstrings at the strangest moments. I will give Raimi this- it’s genuinely hilarious to watch, almost to the point like he knew what he was doing.

  My god this was such a slog. I know many people dislike these movies mainly because of characters like Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy being so inaccurate to the comics, but I truly don’t mind. Peter being a cool but rude guy changes the character a lot but not necessarily in a bad way. It’s just that every scenario he’s written into here is so boring and irritating. It definitely doesn’t help that characters like Captain Stacy and Dr. Connors…
