Man the way my mood and opinion changed halfway through. Don't like the first third, feels like a poorly constructed set up and just falls flat. When the mood shifts though, it's amazing to watch it all unfold.

The Godfather 1972
Timeless. This is about as close to perfection as the medium has ever come. It is flawlessly adapted and shot for screen. The casting, acting, editing, everything is about as good as you'll ever see. I never felt the time, the opening wedding section is SHORT in retrospect. So much information, details and character crammed into so little time? The amount of depth and realism these characters manage to achieve is unbelievable.

About as perfect as a film can get to be honest. Pacing, framing, casting, dialogue, screenplay, camera work etc, look I'm not an expect on any of this but I honestly really can't find anything this film doesn't do flawlessly. It's entertaining throughout yet is always also thought-provoking. Pure work of art
