  The strenght of the movie lies, for me, in the nostalghia and how it made me think about my family and the passage of time.

  It is slow and subtle (not the message, of course, but the style and lead performance), it focuses more on what it has to tell. There isn't anything particularly innovative or grandious, but it is effective, and pays respect to the victims of the latin american dictatorships, an extremely important topic that we should never forget.

  A misoginist perspective of both women's bodies and empowerment. Also, a terrible and disrespectful way of romantizicing the dangerous and complicated labor of prostitutes. Also, depecting sex with someone with the mind of a child is wrong in SO many ways. 
  This will look deep or trangresive only to those who have read no more than one book in their lives; it is unbearably shallow, basic and presumptous, filled with the cynicism of a teenager and a philosophy as fake…

  Not one surprising thing happens in this 3 hour movie...

  And it's not only the jarring pace or the unbearable cliched dialogues and monologues we've seen in every fucking hero/epic film, it's also that they spent too much time developing a world that should have been developed in the previous 3 hour movie.

  And it's even more frustraiting because every thing they achive it's completely undeserving, we never see them facing any obstacles, we only see the results: he learns…
