MONUMENTAL IN IT'S THEME AND THE GRAPHICAL VIOLENCE SHOWN. BUT IS THAT ALL WORTH APPRECIATING IN THIS FILM?

Having read a little about Passolini since last two three days, when scenes from the film were running in my head. So you're telling me this is Sofia Coppola's directorial Debue? Hmm achha theek hain.

It is so raw, so young and puts forward such important voices about the shift from teenage to adulthood in both genders, but especially in females. Being made by a women director of such a palette, she made an important film which is a reflexion of the gentle yet bold portrayal of feminism without objectifying the desires of individuals. The actors did such a splendid job that made this work forever shining in Sofia mam's lovely filmography.

I'll forever be jealous of how this film didn't come out from an active working director in India.
But we've to give the credits to the brilliant Dev Patel for bringing out this action packaged film which has so much to say about the society, mythology and philosophy.
The performances and the cinematography is unbelievable. Music and action choreography is mind-blowing. Watch Out the film. It'll not get released in India for some time now. But it needs to be watched.
