It’s the perfect 3-star movie when you have one of those evenings where you’re in the in the mood for an easy fun and schlocky 3-star movie.
Cameron Diaz and Lesley Mann have really good chemistry. The ending is fun and unexpectedly bloody and overall the balance between cheesy and funny is nicely done. Of course there is no 3-star movie without a few scenes that just feel unnecessary, including some weirdly offensive jokes.
Always having a lot of fun watching this one!

As always it looked and sounded great. The synths paired very well with cheesier parts of 80s music and the intensely vibrant colours (or extreme lack thereof) set the scene beautifully. This time around I especially liked the extremely white places, that should/would never be so clinically clean and perfectly kept in real life: the dingy offices of the FBI, a pathological psychiatry or a family home.

This was a snooze fest and discarded the only interesting plot point it had.
Half an hour in, I already was bored. Almost immediately it was clear that this was going nowhere but a half baked social satire.
Oh so innovative Mark Ruffalo speaks like Trump. So smart with the red hats to imitate MAGA-caps. So well done with their almost Nazi-salutes. Blah. Blah. Blah.
