  strange film in more ways than one. I found that from the beginning it was stilted very often, that the conversations were strange and that the pace kept changing , quick happenings were slowly played out eg Emmie inviting Ali in. The weight of loneliness throughout was crushing and I found this to be the overarching theme although the film is targeted more at social commentary looking outward from their relationship. Their connection itself is entirely lonely , it’s formed…
