Sadly not the dream debut for Krishnendu. Missed his charm and calibre badly. Thankfully, the dialogues picked up in the second half, without which it would have been a disaster. CGI ranged from bad to mid. Saswata still shone. Ambarish is a cutu.

As much corny and cringe this was... I still kinda enjoyed it. The rooftop scene was so cute. This pretended to be so many things at once - thriller, tragedy, romance, revenge, even comedy - it was a difficult project anyway - and the story as a whole didn't do justice to any - a khichdi of sorts. But on some rainy days, a khichdi might be something you crave for.

the best Indian horror movie I've ever watched. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

witches being corrupt policemen, rosencrantz and guildenstern dancing to sallu bhai; and desdemona singing stevie wonder with cassio - MILB (man I love bharadwaj)

a masterclass in adaptation like always...
fools steal, amateurs copy but legends absorb. For those of us who know Shakespeare all too well will be awarded with direct allusions to the mother text while uniquely upholding the character of the new world, and for the rest; it's just perfect storytelling.

But I won't lie, the last shot...gave me goosebumps, trust me...it did.

Pleasantly Horrifying. The hallmark of tragedy.
