Hindi movie producers were surely more ballsy back in 2005. The movie obviously has flaws but this is one of those cases where I appreciate the wild creative swing.

Mukkabaaz tells an extremely sublime story with a performance of a lifetime from the exceptional, Vineet Kumar Singh. I'm glad he's finally having his moment. Strongly believe that this is one of Kashyap's finest movies and easily the most underrated and least spoken of.

The movie took an hour to set up the murder, an entire hour! And that’s after using loads of narration and supers. Man, India is absolutely overfollowing with incredible creatives across all of media so who exactly are the nameless, faceless, skillless losers who called this movie "techincally weak"?

Stupid dimwitted bureaucrats aside, AWIAL is an unparalled achievement of art. A picture-esque depiction of Mumbai and it's life. And Payal ji did it without showing a single shot of South Mumbai. She's my hero.
