hilarious performances from everyone. i didn’t love every second, but every moment was in service of making great points about love, death, how the abuse of technology is done by those in power and only harms marginalized people, space colonialism, cruelty vs empathy and kindness, and so much more. i very rarely feel so much humanity in sci fi films, but bong joon ho is a master.
