Poor Things 2023
WTF. Yes, Emma Stones performance was incredible alongside the crazy otherworldly visuals. But are we all going to brush past the 60% of the movie spent watching the graphic sexual exploitations of a women with the mind of a CHILD!? There’s a level of self-exploration and development here that is fine, but it grows to be concerningly redundant…and for what. Just why. Several useless split ends of the plot aren’t revisited. And that poor goat. The goat deserved better.
