The cardinal sin of this movie is that it is a part one for no good reason except to collect twice the box office. Amazing music, great performances, fun sets and costuming but the weird bloat and awkward pacing are just extremely noticeable. Sing Defying Gravity all the way through. Don’t piss me off.
However I will be rewatching the Jonathan Bailey library scene once a day for the foreseeable future.
