The Reading 2023
This movie was great. The suspense and drama kept me hooked until the very end and it felt like a story that could be right out of our current world. The psychic element gave an interesting twist to the plot and made it all the more captivating. Mo'Nique's performance deserves special recognition - she continues to prove herself as one of the best actresses ever, delivering her usual outstanding work here.

Crimes of the Future 2022
Disappointing. I’ve watched other movies with this director and these talented actors and they were great. I don’t know what happened here. Everything from the storyline itself to the cinematography was awful. The only thing I liked about this film was its ability to create an experimental genre. Sadly, this just didn’t work for me.

Not Okay 2022
A woman’s quest to become famous by using a tragedy as a way of doing so is a compelling storyline; however, this movie presents itself as a hyperactive cliche of both white guilt and privilege which was heavily redundant. Deutch is a good actress, but way too quirky in this role that I felt like I was watching someone mocking the character instead of acting. I wanted to like this movie, but sadly it just didn’t work for me.
