I really wish I liked this more than I did because John Krasinski, but unfortunately it's meh to me. Great concept, the bathtub scene was horrifying, but it falls short. I can't put my finger on exactly how. It's lacking depth or complexity maybe, I'm not sure.

Oh, Saw. What a weird place you have in my heart. You're both one of the most obnoxious horror movie franchises ever, and one of the coolest (up until movie 5).
Gore and body horror *was* one of my favorite genres as a teen simply for the shock factor and adrenaline. The same way I used to love rollarcosters…
