  bruh

  the way this film communicates the heartbreaking current beneath all the shots, the memories is breathtaking.

  i kept dreading some explosive scene which would reveal what was actually going on, but the fact that it ended the way it did makes so much sense.

  Aesthetically pleasing to watch, emotionally unpleasant to watch. The harrowing truth of what measures of evil can be done in the name of hate. And how this evil is just a nine to five job for someone. 

  i found it interesting how this film keeps their distance to these real life people, only filming in wide lenses and no use of close ups. it emphasizes that these humans are saying enough about themselves by what they are doing. 

  also the scene where the kids play and the brother locks the other in the garden shed and makes the gas hissing sound is actually harrowing
