The Phantom of the Opera 2004
there are some… interesting music choices being made here with the pacing of things. the aesthetics, christine, carlotta, the ensemble, and somehow some scenes of raoul and erik singing are maybe the only things redeeming it for me.
best musical numbers were: think of me, phantom of the opera, prima donna, all i ask of you (did not expect that), masquerade, wishing you were somehow here again, and past the point of no return (again, surprising).

The Amazing Spider-Man 2012
rewatched this one after almost 4 years, and it’s actually gotten better with time for me. love that he’s got the quippy instinct in him even from the get-go when stopping the car thief
