  As the saying goes…. every girls first hater is her mom. 

  But like this movie… just gets it. That scene where Eva is playing the piano and asks her mom immediately “do you like it?” And her mom says “I like u.” That’s really how it is. Whatever I create  has to be perfect to make up for for the fact that it’s me. I also kept thinking of that quote that’s something like “some women weren’t made to be mothers and some weren’t made to be daughters.” Anywaaaaaay
