  I think the hate is unwarranted. Yes you got to see more range of mia goth in pearl bc she was a completely different character? Maxine is very clear about who she is, i dont know what new discoveries you expected to find. And for those thinking it would be another able to stand alone: the trailer clearly sets it up as a sequel so again i dont know what you expected.

  This movie was fun even if a little predictable, and i think people are being overly critical because they did not manage their expectations going into this movie

  Okay WAYYYY less crazy and disturbing than the hype always made it out to be. Maybe modern film & tv is too debaucherous for this to be shocking now? Still visually stunning at times and loveee the soundtrack use.

  I see the takes on here that we are supposed to feel sorry for him and the ones denouncing the film wanting you to feel that way as if it has to be one way or the other. Just as in life…
