  I have loved Sam Mendes films since watching American beauty at the age of 14 and his latest effort did not disappoint. Gripping and tense throughout the entire film. It was beautifully shot which really added to the drama of the entire movie. Every character is phenomenal even the characters who only have a few lines of dialogue. Roger Deakins can honestly do no wrong, but this might be his finest work yet. 

  
  I also loved that this was a reunion for Andrew Scott and George Mackay.
