Interesting film. Not massive, in your face, life changing stuff. But a subtle, funny, subversive take on romance, time shift, sci fi type films when the female lead’s only goal is always to find a hero to love and be rescued by. Nice one.

So I haven’t read the novel…but there’s a lot going on here…misinformation, consumerism, fear of death, plato and our perception of truth and reality. I liked how the children and the mother have the most pertinent things to say in a sea of white noise…one to watch again and again…multi-layered.

Lady Chatterley's Lover 2022
A love story, obviously. I read the book about 30 years ago so struggling to remember how it differs. The film is to be commended for it’s balanced portrayal of the male / female view and sensuality. It does so really well. It’s also about class. One of the best love stories in film.
