Great script, great performances, a lot of laughs and plenty of poignant moments too. Very much a film about relationships and personalities, and beautifully done.

How could a film about a bunch of dudes locked away to elect a new Pope be so good?! So beautifully shot, such incredible costuming and production design, amazing performances, and enthralling all the way through.

Almost scrolled past this one assuming I would have heard of a 2018 film starring Laura Dern if it was any good. Glad I checked Rotten Tomatoes! Incredible autobiographical piece by director Jennifer Fox that takes a really interesting approach to memory and the stories we tell ourselves. Beautifully acted by the entire cast too.

Devastating filmmaking, realistic and very uncomfortable viewing.
