  Star Trek: The Motion Picture 1979

  I’m kinda baffled by the low rating of this film. I was surprised at how well it held up. The plot was no more insane than any of the episodes from the original series. There’s a lot of nuance there and a lot of arguments you could make about tonal shift but I think it’s excellent. It echoes “Where No Man Has Gone Before” in a way but with a much better outcome. Will watch again.

  Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl 2024

  Another charming bonkers escapade from Wallace and his long-suffering canine companion, Gromit. Pretty clever and mind-boggling creative as usual. Something was missing plot-wise and I can’t put my finger on it. Great stuff though. Recommended.
