Juno 2007
This is my favorite movie of all time. It is so delightfully genuine, relatable, and comforting. There is a message of “nobody really knows what they’re doing and we’re all just trying to figure it out” that was very relatable. I appreciate how we got to watch Juno’s character go through tough life circumstances, figure things out (often the hard way), and in the end stay resilient. There were lots of heartfelt moments of unconditional love between Juno and Bleaker…

Dinner in America 2020
This movie was funny, action packed, and full of lively and nuanced characters. I especially loved the way Patty was written, as she was very unlike any character I’ve seen before and she and was lovably quirky, felt real, and was easy to root for. We get to watch Simon become so lovable throughout the course of the movie.
