  The way this film sits with people and lets their faces and emotion speak for them. One particular instance of wordlessly holding the camera on Rick Gilbert I will not soon forget. A very personal and affecting doc.

  This is a tough one. It's a heck of a fun ride to go on, and in a vacuum (of space) it's fantastic. But so many of the plot beats are recycled from previous Alien films, and it does feel more like recycling than paying tribute when it happens so frequently. Then there's the whole unnecessary cgi character... . It all leaves a girl conflicted.
