Memoirs of a Geisha 2005
Absolutely loved the cinematography. Romantic plot, very thrilling! Enjoyable to watch. Some parts of the story were very corny of even cringy, but i tried to look through that and just enjoy the play. So, without being super critical, i’d give it a 3,5. Also because its older, and i’ve been curious about this movie since i was a child.

First of all, i really LOVED the frames, i LOVE LOVE LOVE the romantic colorgrading.
I love the scene where mrs. Chan was practising to confront her husband about having a mistress, and the contrasting scene where she practises with mr. Chow and balls her eyes out by the thought of saying goodbye to him. I think Maggie Cheung did a wonderful job acting <3!
