  I'm late to the party with this film but it kept me thinking after I first watched it so I watched it a 2nd time and the ending just breaks my heart into tiny little pieces whenever I think about it. And I do a lot. Charlotte Rampling's performance is absolutely outstanding. The song Smoke Gets In Your Eyes has been stuck in my head for days. A masterpiece.
