Though it had it’s brief good moments and interesting shots and editing choices, it’s hard to see why this movie needed to be made. It was so on the nose yet it completely missed the mark of the experiences it’s trying to call upon. Still hyper focused on The United States as a protagonist for all catastrophe responses and centered on privileged white characters that are difficult to relate to or care about. All in all: exhausting to watch, convoluted and about as good as the wig they put on Timothee Chalamet.
