  A classic 4 star Soderbergh banger. Nothing more, nothing less. And that's FINE. It's not overly ambitious, aspiring to be a something you've never seen before masterpiece. It knows exactly what it is and it's pretty much perfect. And we've got to be ok with that.

  This is a master displaying his craft paired with an airtight script and a fun plot that'll keep you guessing. Not an ounce of fat on this.

  Kinda like Notting Hill for me in that it's pretty funny but the romance stuff just doesn't fully hit. Notting Hill is better tho

  This movie is good and I'm tired of everyone just suddenly universally saying it's bad.

  I recognize the problems within how Russell tries to tell this story, focusing on the characters rather than the compelling real story itself, but besides that, I feel like everything else is pretty great.

  Funny, sexy, well acted, well shot, gorgeously designed, cool costumes, top notch soundtrack, fun characters. What's not to like?

  Wow, who knew David Fincher, the undisputed king of ice cold thrillers about the ugliness of the world had it in him to make something so emotional and sentimental.

  Benjamin Button, I owe you an apology. I wasn't really familiar with your game.

  This is top tier Fincher imo. Beautiful, sweeping, epic work. I think it gets dismissed too much in his filmography by people, including me.
