~ There’s no normal life without pain
Lloyd being completely unable to feel any of his emotions and having the EQ of a 13 yo boy for most of the movie is tragic and real but also hilarious.. And Tom Hanks blew me away I bow.
Only qualm is Andrea, wife’s character, quite one dimensional and clueless, bit annoying.
“I know you think you’re doing this for me - holding onto this anger - I don’t need it” ... very beautiful thanks a lot !!

Why do we like something because it confuses us? Is something good because it’s esoteric? Why do we celebrate something so few people will feel they understand?
Maybe I simply need to watch this 5 more times to see the light, but one thing I dislike in a film is when it feels like a class I’ve shown up to without doing the readings.
