I discovered this film while I was reading some history of Leon Trotsky, when I got to the popular culture section I noticed the name of the film there, and the fact that it stars Richard Burton which raised an eyebrow for me. And it's not the first time that I've seen Burton playing as a notable communist figure, first being in Sutjeska (1973) as Josip Broz Tito.

Watched this movie in memory of Gene Hackman, RIP. I can see why Francis Ford Coppola and Gene Hackman consider this the best film of their careers. I didn't know what I was going to expect in that movie, but I was deeply into it. It even got me thinking at times during the movie, after it ended, it got me thinking even more in guessing with the ending. I feel like it's one of those movies that you have to watch it once in a lifetime, Phenomenal movie.
I enjoyed it way more than I would expect compared to the previous installments. It had stakes, and has way more action. And acceptable comedic relief in parts during the middle of the action. I was more emotionally invested in it. And looks like the film series will continue on. I'll look forward to the next one.
