  A very good idea. Excellent dialogue. Mediocre directing. I'd prefer not to know the result of the trial to be honest. It'd make a better ending that way. Bu I liked it overall.

  How Green Was My Valley 1941

  Throughout the entire movie, I kept asking myself, 'Did John Ford really direct this?' I'm not a John Ford expert and haven't seen many of his films, but I didn't realize he had it in him to make a film like this. Don't get me wrong, I have immense respect for him, but How Green Was My Valley was definitely a shift in both directing style and storytelling as far as I've seen. I was pleasantly surprised. Though still shocked this film was awarded the best picture Oscar instead of Citizen Kane.

  My friend has been recommending me to watch Paprika for some time now, but I apparently watched the wrong paprika. One he was recommending was an anime or whatever. Anyways, I love Tinto Brass' cinema so I really liked this nevertheless.

  I don't get it. I'll never understand these artsy experimental film attempts. Why the whole thing was silent then at 41st minute a music began and stopped after 3 minutes? Who knows?

  A sane person wouldn't watch this.
