  okay so i’d been meaning to rewatch this since it first came out…..17 YEARS AGO?!? jesus christ. anyway, i really thought Twilight wouldn’t have aged very well, mainly because of the forever ongoing Kstew slander and general high cringe value of the series. but my god did i f***ing enjoy that. the soundTRACK? (15 step was the cherry on top) everyone being so attractive? the tension! the unconditional and unequivocal TENSION!!!! f*ck it, Twilight is going in my top 4 I DONT CARE!!!!!

  this film made me actually walk out of the theatre (for the first time in a long time), although not before laughing at how low budget their supposed ‘LSD’ trip scene was (it felt like a college art school attempt) and Jacob Elordi’s horrific southern accent, understanding maybe 60% along with mumbles and his ‘babybeh’. also their efforts to paint this relationship as inappropriate and abusive but then not really doing so very well. really bad story telling, editing and lack of special effects when needed. completely useless film, Elvis in all its glory should have been left untarnished.
