Elemental 2023
Element city gives major Zootopia vibes in the best way, but is ×10 as visually stunning. If I can, I would love to see it again in 3D. The trailers really did this film dirty. The relationship between Ember and her father was extremely moving and seemed so genuine that the ending sequence made me shed a few tears. However, I do wish the story unpacked more of the political issues that story line touched on. The chemistry between Ember and Wade is adorable, although certain points the allegory felt a bit flimsy. Lastly, wtf was that pruning scene???
