Comparing Part 1 and Part 2 is almost exactly like comparing Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul. The first is arguably more iconic, tighter and has an easier to digest narrative while the successor (a prequel/sequel) has a grander scope, more nuanced characters and thus a stronger tragedy at the heart of it all. But for all of them, family is what makes us and can ultimately, undo us.
