Redline 2009
This is a really fun movie that deserves to be seen in a cinema hall. Strong strong strong visuals with strong audio that makes you sit at the edge of your seat from the very first scene. It's astounding that this is all hand drawn. Lacks in story, but that's not unexpected for an action anime. It's understandable why this is a classic cult film.
For those who have watched it: Yes I understand artistic intentionality and all that but what even *were* those last two frames?

A show that was more beautiful that what one would exptect, with some of the best sound design and scoring I've ever heard -- Japanese film/show/anime scoring is so underrated amongst western audiences. The visuals are absolutely stunning and quite literally embodies the idea of "every frame a painting".
