Murder on the Orient Express 1974
never read the novel but saw it was on netflix and decided to give it a try. I typically don’t watch mysteries so it’s an unexpected pick for me. I was drawn by lauren bacall and ingrid berman who had my fave performances. otherwise, this is decent! it is pretty dense and I felt kinda dumb trying to keep up but I’ve heard agatha christie’s novels are always a bit complex. definitely didn’t end the way I expected at the beginning, so I give it credit for that! I will probably never watch the 2017 remake though, it doesn’t need a modern reboot imo
