The Summer Book 2024
Absolutely beautiful, felt so familiar and nostalgic. Really captured the beauty and essence of finland. Glenn Close really carried this one, the potrail of the grandmas story was very touching.
Two problems i had with this were the very surface level storyline of sophia’s and the fathers relationship and the fact that they spoke in english, not even with a fin/swede accent.
But all in all very much enjoyed this one, not bad at all for a book adaptation.
