Aesthetically beautiful film, but it's insanely fast-paced and has a very thin plot. Several times throughout the film I asked myself, "Why did that happen?"

Saturday the 14th 1981
Saturday the 14th is very cheesy, but it does well enough with things. The comedy is hit-or-miss, but I like the corniness of some of it. The monsters look really cool, and the sets are nice too. My biggest complaint is the weird vampire characters who are not at all scary or menacing. It's weird because, even with the movie being a comedy, there is death and violence. They could have had the vampire characters be at least mildly scary…

Kingdom of the Spiders 1977
I'd rate this movie higher, though still not particularly high at all, if it didn't involve tons of real spiders being really killed or released into a non-native environment. That's kind of the opposite message of the film itself too.

KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park 1978
Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park is kind of a fun movie, but it's also very boring and slow when crazy stuff isn't happening. I love the weird effects and how the band is portrayed with special powers. The plot is pretty weird and doesn't even really conclude; it just suddenly ends. Overall the movie is like a Scooby-Doo episode that is way too long.
