This was so fire. Definitely movie theater bias everything is better in theaters but it helped me get absorbed and really appreciate every aspect of the movie. Emotionally sprawling, and so novelistic in nature it made me double check if it was adapted from a novel. Nope, Schrader is just that good at writing characters.
