Such a beautifully shot film. Love the frames/close-ups comparing the skin to the sand. The movie feels as an allegory to modern cursed boxed life itself where we try to move out of it relentlessly but eventually come to terms with it.
From the book, the descriptions felt more claustrophobic to me but it is actually much more than that.
Or maybe nothing at all? Because what I got from it isn't some matrix escaping or capitalist/marxist remarks... But actually existentialism specifically Absurdism that all the work they did, the sufferring they endured was meaningless.
Yaar mein toh ro diya :'(
What a movie!!! made me excited, scream, sob, sed and also (weirdly) inspired.
Such a great indian rendition to Forrest Gump.
I felt this to be even better than the original.
I personally didn't like the original Forrest Gump that much?? Idk it was suggested to me as some "motivational" movie
But tbh I couldn't deem it to be motivational movie per se...
Like throughout the movie Forrest just "did stuff" and he somehow…
