  I disagree with how blatantly the premise states that a man is dying. It isn't stated anywhere in the film, and is open for our own interpretation.
  Perhaps, he is simply dreaming. He even told about it to his mom while sounding quite alive, just a sore throat and lost traction of time. Right after the telephone conversation we see main character's mother Maria rushing to a printing factory, only to get bullied by her coworker Lisa. In the next…

  This is so beautiful, I can't stop the tears neither I want to.
  The way Dora became a good human being again on her journey is remarkable. From someone who scams people for money, and doing questionable actions to get a new TV set, to someone who cares about other people, not just herself. Religion plays a lifebuoy role here, helping Dora find her true way, while not making it a main theme.

  Fernanda Montenegro is great, and, as it is mentioned a lot in reviews, was robbed at the Oscars.
