not only did it have the social aspects of beauty and vanity from a woman’s perspective, but the body horror to back it up.
elisabeth saying she hates herself and sue killing her later on legitimately made me tear up. having another physical self also hate yourself really upset me, and when the monstro elisasue, obviously your first thought is to tense up. which everyone undoubtedly did. but! you can’t help but really feel for them.…
