Classic unfortunate case of a wonderful book being turned into a terrible film. 😔
Everything (e v e r y t h i n g) about it screamed low budget. & why did they change so many important plot points? and water down the beautiful parts of the book into a cheese fest? 😔3 stars only because I enjoyed the book and am clinging to the much better version I painted in my head while reading… 💔
