Kinda amusing how Jack Quaid nails every asshole boyfriend role in movies while I picture him mostly as petite Hughie from The Boys.

Nickel Boys 2024
RaMell Moss' historical drama is an adaptation of a novel of the same name. Set in 1960s America, it is based on two African American teenage boys who befriend each other in a segregated school for convicts. A unique part was that the film is told in a first person POV style from the two central characters throughout its 2.15 hrs runtime. At first it felt a little awkward but as things processed I became used to it.
