Just WOW! Every shot seemed to have a purposeful subliminal message. From everyone in the shot staring directly at the camera, perfectly placed mirrors for the character out of shot to come in for a moment, to changing the lighting during the scene to convey different emotions all at once. Beautifully written and directed. Wes Anderson has become a favorite of mine. He knows how to capture your attention and keep it the entire film

The French Dispatch 2021
Interesting movie for sure. All 3 stories are very interesting with Wes’ touch it just makes it even better. I love the live action yet comic/play feel to this movie. I can see Wes likes the same actors in his films like Tarantino. Yet, with the film shifting so abruptly from story to story it doesn’t have a gratifying ending as the other movies I’ve seen by him do. Still great cinema
